Urlesteig

Experiencing Nature for families

Water rats, climbers and naturalists - the Urlesteig in the hiking area in Reinswald is an experience for all the family. Not only is the curiosity of the little ones sated here; adults too will marvel and discover things they never knew or had forgotten.

Named after the Urelockn, two small ponds in the vicinity of Reinswald, this nature trail breaks down into six stages, so that depending on how you feel, you can cover between 70 and 560 metres of altitude going downhill. The starting point of the Urlesteig is easily reached with the Reinswald gondola.

A hike on the Urlesteig is an experience for all the family. The children can hunt, scramble, climb on the giant dragonfly, sail across the pond on the raft and search for the right way in the mountain pine labyrinth.
Listening to the shepherds or getting to know the legend of the Urlelockn is as thrilling as discovering the many interesting facts about the flora and fauna along the way.
The Highlight of the new season ist the gold washing plant near the Chrust Gepatsch Alm.
