Perfect accessibility - quickly in the great outdoors
The Reinswald ski & hiking area in Val Sarentino is just 30 minutes from Bolzano - ideal for a relaxing day trip or an active weekend in the great outdoors. The cable car takes you comfortably up to an altitude of over 2,100 meters - and you are right in the middle of a hiking paradise.
Urlesteig - adventure for young and old
The Urlesteig trail is a real summer highlight, especially for families: water games, suspension bridges, climbing elements and exciting stations make the hike an adventure. The trail is divided into stages and some sections are even suitable for baby carriages.
Summit bliss on the Sattele (2,460 m)
If you fancy a bit of mountain air, you can continue hiking from the mountain station towards “Sattele”. The ascent is moderately strenuous and rewards you with a fantastic 360-degree panoramic view across the Sarntal Alps to the Dolomites.

There are numerous mountain huts and lodges around Reinswald. Perfect for enjoying South Tyrolean specialties such as bacon dumplings, Kaiserschmarrn or a hearty Marende on sunny terraces - truly authentic and cosy!
